While During testing I’ve , I noticed that header images uploaded by users are not considered recognized as "used imageattachments" in Confluence.

It is used, but not in the content.

API doesn’t have any endpoint to check what is the current header image.

These images are in use but not embedded within the page content, which causes them to appear under "Unused Attachments" in the app.

Currently, Confluence’s API does not provide an endpoint to check which attachment is set as the page header.

Example Issue:

...

Wait for the Confluence API to include the header attachment

  1. If it is already possible and app didn’t make any announcements, pelase contact support with info how this can be done

New feature → Ability to tag header image

...

This can lead to removal of some cool headers

What can be done?

accidental deletion of custom page headers.

What Can Be Done?

Wait for Confluence API updates to include header attachments in its metadata.
If this functionality is already available and the app hasn’t been updated to support it, please contact support with details on how it can be implemented.
New Feature Proposal → Tag Header Images
