Header Images Are Not Considered as Used Attachments

During testing, I noticed that header images uploaded by users are not recognized as "used attachments" in Confluence.

These images are in use but not embedded within the page content, which causes them to appear under "Unused Attachments" in the app.

Currently, Confluence’s API does not provide an endpoint to check which attachment is set as the page header.

Example Issue:

A header image added by a user is visible in the page header but still appears in the "Unused Attachments" list.

This can lead to accidental deletion of custom page headers.

What Can Be Done?

Wait for Confluence API updates to include header attachments in its metadata.
If this functionality is already available and the app hasn’t been updated to support it, please contact support with details on how it can be implemented.
New Feature Proposal → Tag Header Images
I'm planning to introduce tag-based filtering, which would allow users to tag certain attachments (e.g., header images) to prevent accidental removal.
